9th National Surface Engineering Conference was hold in Ningbo from 28-31 October, 2012. The theme of this conference is the sea surface engineering in the development of strategic pillar industry, focusing on the new development and application of surface engineering technology.

Ten members in advanced carbon-based films reseach group participated in this conference and gave four oral and four poster presentations, respectively. Dong Zhang obtained the “Best Poster Award” in this conference.
