Position:   Associate professor / Assistant professor / Postdoctor

Job descriptions and requirements:

We are now seeking the full-time Associate professor/ Assistant Professor/ Postdoctor researcher to join Prof. Wang's research group at the Surface Engineering Division in NIMTE.  The candidate will deal with the R&D in carbon thin films or  tribological behaviors of thin films, or plasma surface modification technology, including establishing and maintaining the deposition instruments, characterizaing film structure, measuring the properties and industriallizing films technology in various application fields such as electrochemical, mechanical, tribological and electronical components etc.

Candidates must have the Ph.D  in material science, materials engineering, or physical science closely related dsicipline experience. For the candidates who want apply the associate professor, minimum of 4 years R&D experience is needed, specifically known well about the correlation of deposition-characterization-properties of thin films technology.  In addition, candidates with excellent thereotical  backgrounds in carbon-based films areas and super-hard coating areas are particularly encouraged to apply.
